“Saving Private Manning” – Featuring Daniel Ellsberg, Medea Benjamin & Michael Moore

Fascinated by the growing network of Bradley Manning supporters, Wikileaks-Movie.com and I collaborated to craft this remix titled Saving Private Manning. As a work of art it draws inspiration from the original “Saving Private Ryan” movie directed by Steven Spielberg, as well as Greg Mitchell’s article from April 2011 “Dan Ellsberg and ‘Saving Private Manning’.” While prominently incorporating and featuring Daniel Ellsberg, Medea Benjamin, Bradley Manning and Michael Moore most members of the Bradley Manning Support Network are noted as key contributors fighting to support, protect and “save” Bradley Manning. “Secret Service” – Obama Versus the “Wikileaks Truck”

This art remix was inspired by prankster Clark Stoeckley, driver of the world’s first ever Wikileaks Truck called the “WikiLeaks Top Secret Mobile Information Collection Unit” and member of the Anonymous Theater Art Group. Clark was detained by Obama’s Secret Service for driving his truck too close to the White House during a Bradley Manning rally and questioned for hours about his truck’s true purpose… as well as his secret knowledge of Wikileaks. This is his tale of the events that day.

“The Spy Who Shagged Me” – Chinese Minister Caught in “Honeytrap”

This remix was inspired by a scenario worthy of Austin Powers and “The Spy Who Shagged Me,” a once-secret US State Department Cable from September 2007, just released by Wikileaks, reveals that former Chinese Minister of Finance Jin Renquing resigned because he had been trapped in a romantic ‘honeytrap’ with a sexy Taiwanese intelligence operative. In August 2007, when Chinese officials announced announced that Jin Renqing was stepping down, their claim was that “personal reasons” caused his resignation.

However according to a classified US diplomatic cable recently released by WikiLeaks, the Jin Renqing was actually involved romantically with a woman also linked to several other prominent Chinese officials such as Sinopec Corp Chairman Chen Tonghai, Chinese Minister of Agriculture Du Qinglin and former Party Secretary Du Shicheng. It is alleged that this woman was an operative and “a promiscuous socialite” for the Taiwanese Intelligence services, and was introduced to these men as “someone working with a Chinese military intelligence department”, according to the cable.

“The Lulz Boat” Remix – Inspired by the LulzSec Hackers

This remix was inspired by the popular LulzSec hacking contingent, otherwise known as “The Lulz Boat” or “Lulz Security”. LulzSec made quite the hacktivist splash with high-profile, cause-driven hacks targeting PBS, Sony and the FBI Affiliate InfraGard. In the spirit of artistic expression, I wanted to contribute my unique interpretation. This ReMix comes from the popular TV series “The Love Boat” and blends the LulzSec Cartoon Face toasting Julian Assange “The Captain”, himself a hacker at heart. Also featured prominently are Tupac Shakur (from the PBS Hack) and the “Mask of Anonymous”… plus the “Love Boat Moon” has been treated with special attention as well.

Julian Assange Play “Stainless Steel Rat” Scathing Review

“Stainless Steel Rat Goes to Hell” was inspired by the eloquent and humorous NOH8ER’s Blog Review of the new Julian Assange play that just debuted in Sydney entitled, “Stainless Steel Rat”, written by Ron Elisha and directed by Wayne Harrison. And from the sound of the review, the play did not get off to a very good start. As NOH8ER’s blog review notes, “I’ve been following the WikiLeaks story and that of Julian Assange reasonably closely since about January this year (2011) and I have at least the nuts and bolts of the matter down pat… I left Ron Elisha’s play ‘Stainless Steel Rat’ with a foul taste in my mouth. The taste of the Arts equivalent of rat piss, but not of the stainless kind… just degrading cartoons set within the device of an extended porn shoot… Don’t see it, it’s shit.”

Hillary Clinton Sparks Bradley Manning “Drag Queen” Art Remixes

This piece was inspired by Hillary Clinton comment, from a June 2011 Vanity Fair article, in which she was paraphrased as saying that she “she could not fathom how an army private, Bradley Manning, with psychological problems and a drag-queen boyfriend could single-handedly cause the United States unprecedented embarrassment…” In honor of this, Wikileaks-Movie.com wanted to do a “Hillary-ous” art tribute dedicated to gender bending films, so this piece was my contribution based on the Australian comedy hit, “The Adventures of Pricilla, Queen of the Desert.”
